Jack Gordon Hutchinson, 13, passed away in the early morning hours on March 23, 2022 to join Our Blessed Lord and His Saints. He was born on May 22, 2008 to his loving parents, Bryan and Erin Hutchinson in Jacksonville, Florida, where he was also raised.
Jack loved to swim in the pool. He enjoyed music of all kinds, from Kindermusic to Gregorian Chant, Johnny Cash, the Zach Brown Band and even the Beastie Boys at the Icemen Hockey games. He especially loved when his mom sang to him. He found joy hanging out at the firepit, watching the flames with his dad. Jack was always happy being around others and in the midst of a crowd. He derived special joy from his two little brothers, Michael and Kolbe, and watching their antics. He loved going to Mass every day before school, and we believe he could see the angels surrounding the church during the sacrifice of the Holy Mass. He had an infectious smile and laughter that anyone who met Jack will always remember. He enjoyed attending Neptune Beach Elementary and Landmark Middle, and he loved his special teachers Ms. Otterbein and Ms. Frias. He loved his dog, Agnes, who would sleep near his bed and kiss him in the mornings. He was the personification of joy, he radiated unconditional love, and he brought out the goodness of other people.
Jack is survived by his parents, Robert "Bryan" & Erin "nee Boyle" Hutchinson, his two brothers; Michael and Kolbe, two sisters; Sarah and Hannah, his grandparents; Robert and Melanie Hutchinson and Billie Williams, and so many friends who were like family to him. He was predeceased by his younger brother, Alex, his grandfather, Michael Boyle and his uncle, Sean Boyle. He will be missed by all who knew him, most especially his family.
