Zerena Rocco

Zerena Jane Rocco, age 17 months, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep during the early hours of December 21, 2019 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Zerena Jane, was born in Jacksonville on July 2, 2018 to Carolyn Suzanne Foxwell and Joseph Jonathan Juymohan.  With her parents, she lived with constant blessings and support from her Yaya and Grandpa. She was a joyful, inquisitive, and friendly child.  She greeted everyone with an unforgettable smile and an emphatic "Hi," her favorite word. She enjoyed storytime, while being held by those who loved her.  She learned lessons from Leave It To Beaver and cheered on the contestants on Let’s Make a Deal and Family Feud.  She would often be heard serenading her family with her favorite song, The Alphabet Song.  She would end her busy days by cuddling with a loved one on a rocking chair, wrapped in her favorite blanket, while lullabies filled her heart.

While her life may have been short, she touched each person in a way that they will never forget. She lived life to the fullest. To her, there was no such thing as strangers, only friends and family she had not yet met.  She will forever be remembered by a multitude of great-grandparents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, siblings, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Zerena Jane will be held at Neptune Baptist Church at 407 3rd Street, Neptune Beach, FL 32266 on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 11 o’clock in the morning.  A time of remembrance and fellowship will follow the service.
