Vivian C. Timmerman

Vivian Crowther Timmerman graduated to see Jesus on January 4^th, 2023.

She devoted her whole life to being the best daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grand mother and commitment to her friends. She lived a life of service as a summer volunteer in New York City- Bellview Hospital and Hope Haven Crippled Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville as a teenager. She gave her life to Jesus at age 12 and was baptized in Israel’s Jordan River in 1969.

Vivian married her high school sweetheart Noel Nixon Timmerman in 1957 after attending Queens College in Charlotte, NC. She was a member of Phi Mu and swim team at Queens. She also was a certified lifeguard and Red Cross Swim Instructor.

Having studied classical piano for 12 years, she taught piano lessons when her daughters Paige and Melissa were quite young, playing piano duets and multiple pianos at Florida Theater.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Noel; daughters Paige (Peter) Smith and Melissa (Tina). Her pride and joy grandson James Allen Baker (Ashley); great granddaughters Peyton and Piper. She was predeceased by her parents James Allen Crowther and Ethel Reynolds Crowther.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday January 10^th, 2023, at Quinn Shalz, 3600 Third Street South, Jacksonville Beach, Florida 32250. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
