Timothy Roland Taylor was born on April 26, 1963, to Bennett and Bobby Sue (Troutman) Taylor in Jacksonville. He graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville with a degree in environmental engineering. Tim worked at Applied Technology and Management (ATM) for many years before becoming a founding member of Four Waters Engineering in Jacksonville Beach, which he started with three of his long-time colleagues.
Tim was united in marriage to Lynda Rae Staudy on June 15, 2002 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bryant, SD.
Tim enjoyed the outdoors, whether he was taking the boat out to fish, or ride to Ft. George, riding his Harley (or Vespa or Golf cart), or enjoying the breeze off the Intracoastal with a cocktail in hand, Tim embraced life. He loved animals, telling stories, and his work; Tim never met a stranger. Tim was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Jacksonville Beach, the American Water Works Association, the Water Environment Federation, and the Bahamas Engineering Society.
Tim is survived by his wife, Lynda; one brother-in-law, Fred Staudy of rural Bryant, SD; and a multitude of friends. He will be greatly missed by his many close friends and colleagues.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents.
