Susan Elizabeth Gross

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Elizabeth Gross, age 53, on January 18, 2025. Susan was a dedicated wife, loving mother, cherished daughter, and devoted sister, whose passion for life touched all who knew her.

 Born to Grace and Don Brass (FL), Susan was the beloved sister to Donna (John) Suddarth (FL), Dennis (Tricia) Brass (PA), Kevin (Kristine) Brass (NJ) and Carolyn Brass (FL). Her family was the cornerstone of her world, and she poured love and care into those closest to her. She is survived by her loving husband Rick and their two sons, Austin and Evan, who were the pride of her life.

A passionate advocate for fitness, Susan lived her life as an inspiration to others, always striving to be her best while motivating those around her. Her energy, positivity, and commitment to living a healthy and active lifestyle were contagious. Whether in the gym or through her words, Susan made an impact as a motivator and a source of encouragement.

 Susan’s spirit was a light to all who knew her, and her legacy of love, kindness, and strength will continue to inspire her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, February 15th in Quinn Shalz Funeral Home, 3600 Third Street South, Jacksonville Beach, Florida 32250. Rev. William Kelly will lead us in prayer for all in attendance at 12:00 Noon.
