Stephen Couch

Stephen Burnett Couch, 69, passed away on May 30, 2016 at his home in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.  He was born March 20, 1947 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Minor and Maurice Couch.  Steve graduated from Texarkana Texas High School and University of Arkansas where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.

Steve married Beth Williamson and moved to Washington, D.C. There he began his career with National Savings and Trust Bank.  He received his Chartered Financial Analyst certification.  He later married Pam Simon and then Linda Kemp.  He retired and moved to Ponte Vedra Beach with Linda where they enjoyed the rest of their lives.

Steve was an avid collector of art and music, and a huge Razorback fan.  He is survived by his first wife Beth, brother John (Kathi), nieces Courtney Couch, Brooke Graham (Scott), and their daughters Finley and Parker.  He is also survived by nephews Clinton Kemp, Brandon Kemp, and Godson Stephen Scott Barksdale.  He was preceded in death by his parents and wives Pam and Linda.

A private memorial service was held. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Texarkana, Arkansas or your favorite charity.
