Stephen Anthony Congro

Stephen Anthony Congro, 83, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2024. Born on June 19, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, Stephen was the son of the late Basil and Mary Congro.

Steve worked as an aircraft production manager for Grumman Aerospace and Northrop Grumman for 43 years. He was known by his coworkers for his work ethic and sense of humor. In his retirement, Steve enjoyed his twice a week golf outings, cooking, and spending time at the beach with his family.

Steve was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Carla; his children, Gina, Brenda, and Stephen; and his grandchildren, Armin, Zachary, Cameron, Ryan, Noah, Jordan, Marc, Genevieve and Cora. Steve was a devoted family man who cherished every moment with his loved ones.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am, Friday, August 16, 2024 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Reverend Christopher Knight as Celebrant.
