Seymour Meyers

Seymour “Steve” Meyers died unexpectedly on April 17^th, 2023 after battling a long illness.

Steve was born on December 27th 1939, in the Bronx, New York and was the only son of Henry Meyers and Ethel Rohrlich Meyers. A graduate of De Witt Clinton High School in New York, Steve proudly served his country in the National Guard.

He was a devoted husband to his wife, Rafaela, for 53 years and a loving stepfather to his son, Ted Brauch. Steve was a self-taught musician who loved to play the piano after first learning how to entertain family and friends on the accordion.

A beloved friend to all he met, Steve would readily strike up conversations with whomever he met—be it someone waiting in a line, passing by at the grocery store and in later years his fellow patients at the dialysis center.

A man of simple tastes, Steve loved his family, his cat Felix and the occasional trip to Atlantic City. His legacy is not what he accomplished at work but the joy and happiness he brought to this world.
