Sean Cavanaugh
October 18, 1993 — September 5, 2012
Sean M. Cavanaugh passed away Sept. 5, 2012. Sean was born Oct. 18, 1993. He was a student at Nease High School where he played football and lacrosse. At the time of his death, he was a student at Florida Gulf Coast University. Sean enjoyed skateboarding and going to the beach with his friends. He was a "camp buddy" at Camp Promise for two summers, of which Sean was especially proud.
He is survived by his parents, Mike and Maria, and brother, Colin (15).
A viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, in Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church of Ponte Vedra Beach, where Sean was christened in 1993. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, in Our Lady Star of the Sea with Monsignor Daniel Logan as Celebrant.
