Ruth Bantz

Ruth Bantz, 84 passed away June 26, 2018 in Jacksonville, FL. She was a resident of Pinellas County for over 58 years. She was born in Johnsonburg, PA and raised in Stark County, OH. She was predeceased by her parents, Ward A. Butler and Gladys Haney Butler.

Ruth graduated from Manchester HS in 1951 and attended Kent State University.  She began her banking career in the mid 60's, first at Second National Bank of Tampa, FL, Exchange Bank and NCNB of Clearwater, FL from 1969-84 serving as associate vice president and Chase Bank of Florida 1984-95, vice president, manager and branch administrator.

Ruth is survived by her daughter Kathleen (David) Spencer, granddaughter Rebecca Spencer of Jacksonville, FL and granddaughter Abigail Spencer of Burbank, CA.

A private graveside service will be held in August at Greenlawn Cemetery in Akron, OH
