Ronald Lee White

Ronald Lee White, born August 24, 1958, in Terre Haute, Indiana began a life with his loving and devoted parents to the late Raymond and Barbara Jean Norton White.

Ronald passed away peacefully in his home in Jacksonville, Florida on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.

Ronald attended Terre Haute North High School and immediately entered the workforce and worked a numerous of jobs from delivering papers in the community to fast food restaurants like Taco Bell, Arby's and Pizza Hut. Ronald was also a Truck Driver who delivered produce and other goods state to state, chauffeured elite clientele all over Jacksonville, Florida while working for Brumos-Mercedes Benz, he also drove the city bus for the Jacksonville Transportation Authority and ultimately his most prized and passionate role of all – a business owner, a Professional Dog Trainer.

Ronald lived a life with no boundaries, full of life, charisma, and an abundance of laughter and jokes. He adored his family and loved all seven of his grandchildren with every fiber of his being. You could often find him perched outside sitting in his rocking chair enjoying the deep Florida sun, perfecting the lines in the grass or pruning his beautiful flowers. Ronald enjoyed watching the news and talking politics, his daytime TV shows, especially The View or ‘How you Doin?’ with Wendy Williams, watching old Western movies like Gunsmoke, The Jeffersons, Gilligan’s Island or Sanford and Son.

Ronald was a man with dignity who enjoyed the simple things in life, wherever there was a need for his help, he was always happy to provide a lending hand. He was a dedicated husband, a resourceful father, an affectionate grandfather and an amusing brother. We all loved Ronald’s beautiful smile, funny laugh, and humor in everyday experiences.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Barbara Jean Norton White, sisters Saundra Norton, Sally Harris, Pamela Moothery and brothers Donald, Joe, Kenneth, Raymond Jr., Bobby White

Ronald leaves to cherish his memory with his wife Gina White of 36 years. His children Ronald “LBM”, Terrie White, Alaya Davis, Yasmina and Miguel White of Jacksonville, Florida. His brothers Stewart (Brenda) White of Indianapolis, IN; David (Keyla) White of Terre Haute, IN. Sisters Linda (Charles) Martin of Terre Haute, IN; Myrtle Norton of Fort Wayne, IN; Rita (Wesley) Underwood of Dover, NJ; Kathy Bailey of Terre Haute, IN; Jean (Weston) Walker of Easton, PA; Deborah White of Brownsburg, IN; Valerie White of Terre Haute, IN. Seven grandchildren; Jaden White, Raquella Watson, Kandy White, Lyric Nichols, Aviana White, Nishala Watson and Adelina White; and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
