Robert Linwick

Robert Linwick, 65, passed away unexpectedly on March 29, 2017. He was born March 15, 1952 in Redonda Beach, CA. He grew up in Jacksonville and attended the Univ. of FL. He moved to the beaches area in 1992. He worked as a manager for Crowley Maritime Corp. for 23 years and then as a Senior Operations Manager for Ship Xpress for 10 yrs., retiring in 2014.

Rob loved his little neighborhood and socializing with all his neighbors in Atlantic Beach. He had a great sense of humor and liked to tell jokes. He treasured his walks on the beach with his beloved dog, Tobie. Having attended the Univ. of FL, he was an avid Gator Fan. He was an active member of the Church of Eleven 22 where he loved greeting people at the front doors.

Rob is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Paula; sisters, Linda, Sally (Tom) and Casey (Michael); niece, Kate; nephews, Wes and Scott; and great nephews, Adeline and Mirabel.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, April 5th at the Church of Eleven 22.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Jacksonville Humane Society.
