COTTRELL Richard Dick S. Cottrell passed away on April 16, 2013, after a full life of 88 years. Richard bravely served his country on a B17 in World War II, earning the Air Medal. After the war, he served on the flight crews for Generals Eisenhower and McNarney. During the Cold War, he switched to intelligence in the Air Force's Office of Special Investigations. He retired in 1964 at the rank of Lt. Colonel. After his military service, Richard joined Cain & Bultman in Jacksonville where he enjoyed working for 25 years in sales and management. Richard is remembered by his family and friends for his great wit and happy demeanor. He was a loving husband and father, and always seemed to have just the right funny or kind comment on hand. Richard is survived by Marjorie, his loving wife of 49 years; his brother Charles R. Cottrell; his sister Millie Alexander; his daughters Sharlena Frager and Kathleen Zagorc; his son Edward K.
