Raymond Gannon

Raymond Gannon, 86, passed away December 2, 2016. He was born in East Orange, NJ. He served in the U.S. Army from 1950 through 1953, and retired from Fiske Brothers Refining Co. as office manager after 38 ½ years. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, serving on the committees of Fellowship, Trustee, Stephen Ministries, The Senior Saints Club, Auxiliary of Baptist Medical Center-Beaches, Jacksonville Humane Society as well as Braille workers of Jacksonville.
Ray is survived by his sister-in-law, Mary Gannon, of Lake Como, NJ; nephew, Daniel (Carolyn) Gannon, of Neptune, NJ; nieces, Linda (Dennis) Scrimer, of Avon by the Sea and Donna Gilbertson of Earleville, MD; grandnieces and grandnephews, Victoria, Andrew, Melissa, Lauren, Megan, Allison and Robert, all of NJ.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, Dec. 5, 2016 in Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home of Jacksonville Beach. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, Dec.6th in Grace Lutheran Church, 12200 McCormick Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32225. Interment will follow in the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
