Raymond Cooney

COONEY Raymond Joseph Cooney, 89, passed away March 15, 2016 peacefully in his home. He was born in Bayonne, NJ on Oct. 15, 1926 and moved to Ponte Vedra Beach in 1972. Family members include 2 sons, Raymond (Victoria) and Robert (Wendy); 3 daughters, Mary McKeown (Christopher), Jane Cooney and Kathleen Hawkins (Steven); and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ed and his sister, Margaret. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 23, in Our Lady Star of The Sea Catholic Church of Ponte Vedra Beach.
