Phyllis Torrance

Phyllis G. Torrance, 78, passed away and entered into her Father’s House on September 22, 2018.  She was born in Paris, TX on July 23, 1940.

Phyllis graduated from SMU Nursing School in Dallas, TX with a career of over 25 years as an RN and a faithful friend to so many.

She is survived by her children, Gregory Bryan (Tina) Torrance and Bretton Ray Torrance (Laura Ferreira); her grandchildren whom she held close to her heart, Godfrey Bailey Torrance, Bretton Raley Torrance and Jordan Hunter Torrance; sister–in-law, Judith Stark Stone; nephew, Michael Stone; and niece Gina Gail Stone.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy (Candy) Daroose of Dallas, TX, and Raford Stone of Paris, TX; brother, Alvie Michael (Mickey) Stone; and grandparents, Gladys and Will Stone and Lucille and Homer Ward of Paris TX.  Her greatest joy was her family and will be forever remembered for her loving spirit.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 21st in the Chapel of Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home, 3600 Third St. South Jacksonville Beach, Florida 32250. A reception will follow.
