Phyllis Knox Smith

Phyllis K. Smith, 84, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away September 28, 2022.  She was born March 2, 1938 in Jacksonville, FL.  As an adult, she moved with her family to Montevallo, AL, Schnecksville, PA and Allentown, PA before returning to Jacksonville, FL in 1994.

Phyllis was a proud homemaker and lovingly raised many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.   She was co-owner of RPK Arabians where she bred and raised Arabian show horses.  She enjoyed sewing and cooking and also dedicated many hours to volunteering for the soup kitchen in Allentown, PA.

Phyllis is survived by her loving husband, Richard "Dick" Smith; their seven children:  Robin, Leslie, Cliff, Debbie (Tim), Sandra (John), Rick and Kacy; sister Jeanne (Dick); eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2:00pm on Friday, October 7, 2022 in Quinn-Shalz chapel with Father William Kelly as Celebrant.
