Phuoc Ky Pham, was born on December 01, 1938 in the town of Giá Rai, Bạc Liêu province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. He died of progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) Sunday, October 21, 2018, at home in Jacksonville, Florida.
He was a South Vietnamese soldier, high school teacher, Communist prison camp survivor, refugee, 7th dan Taekwondo master. He was powerful, tough, confident, brave, trustworthy and well respected. He was, however, best known as a caring family man, wonderful husband, great father, doting grandfather, and a dedicated teacher. He lived an amazing life that few can claim.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, eight wonderful grandchildren, and many Taekwondo students all around the world."
The family will gather at the funeral home privately. If anyone wishes to send flowers, please have them delivered by 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2018.
