Phillip Mercer Adams

Phillip Mercer Adams of Ponte Vedra Beach passed away on May 6th 2024. Born on June 29, 1953, in Huntington, West Virginia, he proudly served in the Army before settling in Lake Norman, North Carolina, and eventually relocating to Florida.  

After his military service, Phil began his career in sales which eventually landed him in Ponte Vedra Beach as a District Sales Manager in Electrical Supply. 

Phil enjoyed golfing, a nice glass of red wine and time with friends, but his greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Lynn;  daughters Lauren (Nick), Alison (Paul), and Monica; grandchildren Owen, Myles and Philip; and sisters Kathy and Karen.  

A Memorial Service to celebrate Phil's life will be held on June 8th at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Phillip's honor can be made to the USO and the Jacksonville Humane Society.
