Peter Sartoris

SARTORIS Peter L. Sartoris, 89, passed away Feb 5, 2016. He was born Oct. 10, 1926 in Export, PA to the late John & Catherine Sartoris. Pete served in the U.S. Air Force with the 25th Comm. Squadron in Germany during WWII. He was a policeman for the Detroit Police Dept. for 8 years. He then worked for Prudential Insurance until he retired. His biggest successes were his wife, children and family. Pete was an avid golfer and blackjack player throughout his life. His most recent work was playing poker. Pete is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dora; son, Doug (Kay); grandchildren, Dustin (San), Dean (Audrey) Dory; and many other loved ones. He was predeceased by his son, Dennis (Janie); and his sisters, Mary, Jennie, Clemes and Louise. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wed., February 10th in the Chapel of Quinn-Shalz.
