Patrick Raymond

Patrick Garriott Raymond, 34, of Los Gatos, Calif., passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 in Jacksonville, Fla.

His memorial service will be held at 1pm Wednesday, March 21 at Redeemer Church in Ponte Vedra, Fla. with Pastor Sean Yost and Pastor David Sheffield of Redeemer Church, officiating.

Patrick was born in San Jose, Calif. to Cathy O’Brien and Philip Raymond on September 9, 1983.  He went to school at St. Francis High School. He received his Eagle Scout badge at the age of 18 and continuously put his skills to use through his hunting, fishing and outdoor adventures. He served in the Navy as an electrical engineer. Immediately following discharge, he traveled the country and eventually took an art apprenticeship in Fairbanks, Alaska where he lived for 10 years. He worked as an artist, most recently for East Coast Worldwide in Jacksonville Beach, Fla. He was involved at CrossWater Church where he regularly attended services and took his son to Awana.

Patrick is survived by his son, Owen Raymond; his mother, Cathy O’Brien; his father, Philip Raymond; his brother Grant O’Brien; and his sister, Brooke Gordon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Owen Raymond’s college fund by including a letter with your gift stating the check is “a deposit into the College American fund with Cathy O’Brien as owner to benefit Owen Raymond”. Checks can be made out to American Funds and mailed to PO Box 2713, Norfolk, VA 23501-2713.
