Patricia Zipperer

Patricia E. Zipperer, 78, passed away June 10, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 1, 1939 in Savannah, GA. She spent 32 years living in Blakely, GA where she owned and operated the “School of Dance Arts.” After she retired she moved to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL to be closer to her family.

Patty was a member of Beach United Methodist Church, Manager of Marsh Cove Condo Association, Choreographer and Director of the Sassy Tappers of Neptune Beach Senior Center. Patty performed at ABET of Atlantic Beach, and was Choreographer at Players by The Sea of Jacksonville Beach.

Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Bates and Cathy (Chris) Mauldin; grandchildren, Samantha Mauldin and Carter Bates; sister, Jane (Bill) Bull; sister-in-law, Kay Zipperer; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years, Samuel Derrick Zipperer, Jr.

A Gathering will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 15, 2017 in Quinn-Shalz. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 16th in the Chapel of Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home.
