Patricia (Pat) Louise Ryscamp, 83, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023, at her home in Jacksonville, FL, with her loving family by her side and is now in heaven with her Lord and surrounded by loving family and friends that went before her.
Pat loved her family and friends deeply and brought them together whenever she could for laughter and conversation, especially over a meal of spaghetti or lasagna. She married the love her life, Roy Ryscamp, in 1960, and they were married for 62 years before his passing in 2022. They were best friends who together through their love and generosity made a lasting difference in the lives they touched. Early on Pat taught our family the foundations of our faith, which even now provide the assurance that we will meet again through our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Pat was born on November 3, 1939, in Chicago, IL to Stanley and Louise (Casasanto) Hasier. She is survived by son Jim (Kitty) Ryscamp, daughter Jodi Holsapple; daughter-in-law Diane Ryscamp; grandchildren Kayla Smith, Amber (Kyle) Silva, Megan Holsapple, and Dean “DJ” Holsapple, Jr.; great grandchildren Tyler, Denver, Parker, Daniel, Noah, and Jonathan; and sisters Ann Roth (Harry) Campbell, Joan Ruder, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and good friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Roy Ryscamp, Jr., son Jeffrey Ryscamp, grandsons Nicholas and Timothy Ryscamp, and brother Thomas Hasier.
