Patricia (Patti) Meyne passed away peacefully July 24, 2023 at Beach House Assisted Living in Jacksonville Beach. Patti was a long-time beach resident who made an impact on everyone she met. Growing up in Mayport, FL, Patti was one of eleven children born to John Lee Bothwell and Katherine Klipstine. She attended Mayport Elementary School as well as Fletcher High School. Her adult life was spent waitressing at local restaurants such as Stricklands, bartending at the VFW, and raising her six children. She lovingly supported her husband Frederick (Fritz) Meyne in his law enforcement career and proudly served as President of the Ladies Auxiliary for the local Fleet Reserve Association. Patti was a lover of all things outdoors. In addition to being an avid softball player, Patti could be found outside in her garden, swimming in her pool, or fishing off the dock at her home in Palatka, FL. She and Fritz looked forward to taking their grandchildren out on the pontoon boat, rowing up and down the canal in the Jon boat, and especially camping and to water parks each summer. Patti was always up for fun. Her spitfire attitude and love of shenanigans are the subject of many hilarious stories amongst those who knew her. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Talmage Crumbley, and her loving husband, Fritz Meyne. She is survived by her brother, Fabian Bothwell, and sister Shirleen Hayes as well as her children: Annette Wetzork (Bob), James Crumbley (Amy), Kathy Deighan (Joe), Thomas Crumbley, Miriam Cinotti (Mike), and Nathan Crumbley (Christie). While she is no longer here, her memory lives on through her six children, 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
