Natalie Urquhart of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, passed away on December 3, 2020. Natalie was a beloved wife to her husband, Gary, and mother to her precious children, Andrea and Matthew. Natalie will be forever missed by all who were fortunate enough to experience her radiant smile and giving heart.
Natalie was born to Dominick and Joan Marangi and grew up in Union, New Jersey. She received her undergraduate degree from Drew University and her graduate degree in physical therapy from New York University. Natalie’s desire to help and care for others would lead her to work for over fifteen years at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey, where she specialized in vestibular rehabilitation. Natalie married Gary Urquhart in 1998, and later they were blessed with twins, Andrea and Matthew. In 2005, the family moved to Ponte Vedra Beach, where she created a life focused on the raising and support of her beloved family. Natalie was strong, capable, and tireless, constantly striving to make everything better, helping without fail, and always encouraging.
Natalie is also survived by her sister, Rosemarie Halady, of Union, New Jersey, as well as numerous aunts, nephews, nieces, and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Donald Marangi.
A funeral Mass will be held for Natalie at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at Natalie’s long-time home parish, Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 545 A1A North, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. On the advice of the church due to COVID-19 precautions, no reception will follow the Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations in Natalie’s memory be made to the American Cancer National Society: http://www.cancer.org.
