Nancy Joan Dodd

Nancy Dodd passed away peacefully on the evening of June 22, 2022. She was born on May 26, 1943, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Nancy spent her professional career as a paralegal and administrative manager of a law firm. Nancy was a tireless volunteer in her retired years serving many roles. She served as the leader of the prayer shawl ministry at Christ Episcopal Church. She was a founding member and served as the second president of the Newcomers Alumni. Nancy was the chairman of its charitable initiatives. Nancy also volunteered in the gardens of the Jacksonville Zoo.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, James Dodd; sons, Jim, David, Bruce and Charles. She will be missed by her many grandchildren.

 A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in Christ Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
