Mildred Paul Forrest

Mildred P. Forrest passed away December 25, 2023.  She was born in Greensboro, NC and resided in Raleigh, NC and Orlando, Florida before moving to Jacksonville Beach in 1973. 

Millie had many talents and interests.  She worked in banking, taught ballroom dancing, and was a bookkeeper at North Carolina State University and Jacksonville Country Day School. 

Millie is survived by her daughter and son in law, Paula and Mark Messerschmid.  She was predeceased by John, her husband of 37 years, her sister, Geri Jordan and her parents, William and Lillie Paul.

A Funeral will be held at 10:00 Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Quinn-Shalz in Jacksonville Beach.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your charity of choice.
