Milani-Alexis McKee

Milani-Alexis Arce McKee, 32, passed away January 24th, 2021. She was born November 11th, 1988 in Subic Bay Naval Base, Republic of the Philippines. She grew up in Jacksonville, FL and built a loving home with her husband in Yulee, FL. Together they had a special relationship with the Fernandina Beach Fire Department and surrounding community.

Milani graduated from Mandarin High School in 2007 and earned a degree in Public Health from The University of North Florida in 2011. Her passion for providing care led to a career in serving others, with a focus in women’s health. Eventually, she and her husband, Collin found a desire to open their hearts and home to fostering children. Outside of her busy career, you would find Milani on the homestead she built with Collin, tending to their pigs, chickens, and dogs, or hosting bonfires and movie nights with their nieces and nephews. She loved the simple life, curating warm and inviting spaces and building beautiful memories. Their home was always open to family and friends.

Milani is survived by her loving husband of 5 years, Collin; son, Tyler Monte; father, Michael (Lorena) Montemayor and mother, Lani Arce; brothers, Mikey (Addie) Montemayor and Nick Montemayor; and many grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Family and Friends are invited to the viewing at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, January 29, 2021 in San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church, 1718 State Road 13 St. Johns, Fl., 32259 where she married her best friend and loving husband. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM  Saturday, January 30, 2021 in San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church with Reverend John Tetlow as Celebrant. Milani-Alexis will remain in our hearts forever.
