Michelle J. Stys, 69, passed away June 17, 2017. She was born on December 24, 1947, in Baltimore, Maryland, and was raised in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. A Ponte Vedra Beach resident for many years, Michelle was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter M. Stys.
Michelle has touched the hearts of many, and she will be remembered fondly for her spirited personality. Michelle and Walter shared a passion for philanthropy, and their generous gifts will impact children for generations to come.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, June 26, 2017, at Christ Episcopal Church in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Walter and Michelle Stys Pediatric Neuroscience Institute at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.
