Michael William Titzler passed away suddenly at home on September 4, 2016. He grew up in Cranston, Rhode Island and attended Cranston High School. He graduated from The University of Rhode Island in 1973 with a degree in Industrial Engineering and received his MBA from The University of Connecticut in 1978. He worked with Pratt & Whitney in Connecticut and in 1983 was transferred to their new automated plant in Columbus, GA where he met Cindy. They were married in 1985 and he became a wonderful husband and Dad to his children, Abby and Justin. He spent many hours and most weekends (at the expense of his golf game) to coach them in softball, basketball, baseball, football and soccer. Mike was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Hope Titzler, and a sister, Karen. He is survived by his wife, Cindy, his daughter, Abby Bryan and husband Troy and son, Justin Titzler. He also leaves behind four granddaughters, Mallory Bryan, Anna Pate, Audrey Bryan, and Emily Brewer that were the light of his life. He is also survived by two sisters, Donna Pignolet and husband, Clyde and Joy Loverro and husband Danny along with six nieces and three nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wed., Sept. 7th in Quinn Shalz Funeral Home. Also, a visitation and service will be held in Columbus, GA. The burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the charity of your choice.
