Meredith Lease

LEASE Meredith Anne Lease went to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, April 22, 2013. She passed away at her parent s home from complications associated with Kidney disease. She was born October 27, 1969 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1977. She attended Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, Fletcher High School and The University of North Florida where she received her BA in Education. She loved working with children and taught for many years at Circles of Learning. She was a member of Isle of Faith UMC in Jacksonville. Meredith is remembered by her family and friends for her wonderful sense of humor, amazing memory and love of God, family, books, art, music, scary movies and old collectible toys. Meredith is survived by her parents Roy and Marlene Lease; two sisters, Stephanie Lease and Heather Speight; brother-in-law Roy Alan Speight; and five nieces and nephews, Haley Lease, Collin Speight, Alexandra Speight, Taylor Glore and Tonya Long. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at 6:30 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2013 in Isle of Faith United Methodist Church, with a reception immediately following.
