Melva Vujan

Melva W. Vujan passed away at home in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL on 2/25/2018. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on 8/24/1921. She is predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Alexander S. Vujan M.D. Melva will be greatly missed by her children, Andrea Colaiaco (Victor), Diana Goldhagen (Jeffrey), Alexander Vujan (Naomi), and Christopher; her grandchildren, Valerie Waterson (Alfie), Andrea McClosky (Jason), Jessica Colaiaco, Nicole Davis (Aaron), Ben Colaiaco (Roxana), Mia Olsen (Mike), Alanna Moore (Justin), Julian Goldhagen, Tess Goldhagen, and Eva Goldhagen; nine great grandchildren; and brothers, Joseph, Stevan, and Samuel Werlinich. Melva graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1943 with a B.S. in chemistry and was a member of the Senior Hall of Fame. She was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. In WWII, she served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy as a W.A.V.E. Her family will live-on remembering the countless wonderful meals she served over the years and treasuring fond memories of her deep love and affection.
