Mary Alice O’Conor (nee Cuddihy), 94, passed away Feb. 1, 2017. She was born May 7, 1922 in Kew Gardens, NY. She graduated from the Convent of the Sacred Heart.
Mary Alice was a longtime parishioner of St. Paul’s Catholic Church of Jacksonville Beach, FL. She was an avid beachgoer, bridge player and volunteered for many Catholic organizations.
Mary Alice is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Nelson of Jacksonville Beach, FL and Jane Rooney of Atlantic Beach, FL; sons, William of Tampa, FL, Michael of Atlantic Beach, FL and Peter of Atlantic Beach, FL; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, William and son, Thomas.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 3rd at Cypress Village. Interment will be in Holy Rood Cemetery of Westbury, Long Island, NY.
