Mary McLeod, December 29, 1932 - August 24, 2022
Mary McLeod recently passed away at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her parents Ira and Washburn Jones, originally from Ridge Farm, IL, a sister Sara F. Graham of Paris, IL, and her late husband Neal McLeod of Jacksonville, FL. She is survived by her nephew and wife John and Carol Graham of Watseka, IL.
Mary was a member of Kernan Boulevard Baptist Church where she attended Sunday School and loved singing in the choir, and also at Maranetha Baptist Church. She was an accomplished seamstress and made her own clothes. She was and avid storyteller and loved recounting her days growing up on the dairy farm on Cherry Point Road in Paris, IL.
Mary liked attending local country jam sessions, watching NASCAR and Indy Racing events, interacting with others, eating out, and enjoying life. She spent most of her adult working life as a loan officer, business manager, and accountant. She will be missed by all those close friends she made in her life. May she Rest In Peace!

A gathering of friends to celebrate Mary's life will be held at Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to Kernan Baptist Church,  www.kernan.churchcenter.com/giving, or Maranatha Church of Jacksonville, www.maranathajax.com.
