Mark Sutton, 58, passed away August 3, 2018 at Community Hospice McGraw Center surrounded by his family and friends. He was born November 20, 1959 in Macon, GA to Douglas Sutton and Carolyn Sutton (predeceased). He grew up in Macon, GA and later moved with his wife Donna to Jacksonville, FL.
Mark received a liver transplant in 2016 but the cancer returned. He and his family were very grateful to his liver donor Willard Truckenmiller and his gracious family.
Mark enjoyed the simpler things in life such as family meals, tinkering in his garage, mentoring his sons, and, most of all, spending quality time with his family.
Mark is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Donna; sons Brad, Chase, and Brock; brother Randy Sutton; sisters, Jan (Shannon) Wilder, Tammy (Mike) Elliott, and Gail (Keith) Lockhart; mother-in-law Dianne (Phil-predeceased) Teachey; sister-in-law Laura (Scott) Koslowski; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends Sharon Yunick and Shawn Hall.
Mark’s family will receive visitors at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. A continued celebration of life will be open to family and friends directly following the service at the residence of Scott and Laura Koslowski.
