Margaret Quinn

Margaret Jane (“Peggy”) Quinn née Malone, 93, of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, died on August 8, 2016, at HarborChase Memory Care Center of Jacksonville, Florida. She was born March 30, 1923, in Fairmont, West Virginia, daughter of the late Victory and John Malone.  Peggy was a longtime member St. Paul’s Catholic Church and an avid golfer and bridge player.

Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Christopher Quinn, her only sibling and dear sister, Arlene Bassler née Malone, and cherished niece Linda Miller née Bassler, all of Allentown. She is survived by three daughters, Sally Quinn and Mary Price, both of Jacksonville, and Coleen Lewos of Jacksonville Beach, son-in-law Ron Lewos II, and three grandchildren, Cody Price, John Lewos and Claire Lewos. She will also be fondly remembered by her nephews John C. Bassler, Jr. of Allentown and James Allen Bassler of Lambertville, NJ, and their families and by Mervin Miller of Allentown and his family and Robert Quinn of Lancaster.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Friday August 12 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Interment will be held at Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery in Bethlehem, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 35 1st Ave North, Jacksonville Beach FL 32250, VITAS Community Connection and to Phoebe Allentown, 1925 W. Turner Street, Allentown PA.
