LAWRENCE W. BACA, 73, resident of Atlantic Beach, Florida, died on August 21, 2021.
He was born in Boswell, PA and grew up in Camillus, NY. He was a graduate of West Genesee High School. He owned several businesses in Syracuse and Camillus during his lifetime. Most recently, he owned LWB's Camillus Grill until his retirement in 2016. He then re-located to Atlantic Beach, Florida which he referred to as “Paradise.”
Not a day went by that Larry did not state his gratitude for his wonderful life in Florida with his beloved wife Kathy. Their daily mantra was ”I can’t believe we live here!” Larry and Kathy were inseparable. The couple spent their time riding bikes, playing golf or visiting with friends and family at Surfer. The couple spent many a day chatting with their companions at the American Legion, where Larry also loved playing bingo. Larry lived life to the fullest.
Larry was predeceased by his parents Charles and Annabelle Baca, and his brothers, Dennis and Thomas.
Larry is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Kathleen (Gill) Baca, his children, Danielle (John) Mahoney, John "Spike" (Nori) Gartner-Baca, Kimberly (Charlie) Baca-Jones, Joseph (Melissa) Baca, Ashley (Art) Nigro, Kaley (Bill) McHale, and Jesse (Jeff) McClean, his brother, Charles Baca, 13 grandchildren, 2 nieces, 2 nephews and many cousins. He also leaves behind Smudgy and Pumpkin, his cats who also loved him so much. He so loved his family and friends.
