Larry Little

Larry Beckett Little,75, passed away, Feb. 24, 2018. He was born in Macon, GA to George Beckett and Charlotte Ellison Little, who preceded him in death. Larry attended Ferrum College in Virginia and served in the US Marine Corps.

As a young man, he won multiple boxing championships in Virginia Amateur Athletic Union and others.  After winning the Golden Gloves State Championship in the Lightweight Division in Virginia, an injury ended that possible career. He was retired from CSX Railroad.

Larry is survived by his son, Rylan Beckett Little and granddaughter Rylee Dawnell Little of Jacksonville; his sister Gail Little Lamb of Fairview, NC; his loving companion, Helen Williamson of Jacksonville Beach; and many loving cousins.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sat., March 17 in the Chapel of Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home, Jacksonville Beach.
