Kathleen Kostick

Kathleen Kennedy Kostick was born January 17, 1929 in County Wicklow, Ireland. She developed her love of nature growing up on a farm and walking the hills. She moved to Dublin to pursue a career in nursing specializing as a mid-wife. Here she met her husband, Dr. Evan Kostick and married in Nottingham, England April 1, 1956. They lived in Ireland, West Africa, Canada, and the United States. Known for her love of her family and her love of nature, she is survived by her husband Evan of 60 years; children Deirdre Clare Murphy (Jim), Emer Ann Scheibner (John), Grainne Eithnne Medearis (Mike), Jill Kennedy Kostick, David Alan Kostick (Sheri); grandchildren, Aileen, Colin & Katie Scheibner; Melissa, Amy & Nicole Medearis; Evan, Gaenna and Sarah Rogers; and Nathan and Noah Kostick.
A Graveside Service will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
