Katherine Rasmussen

Katherine Nix Rasmussen was born Katherine Anne Tallent on May 15, 1933 in Fort Worth, Texas. As a navy spouse and wife to the United States military attaché to Japan, Katherine traveled the world and built friendships wherever she went. She loved to dance, ballet, and was an ACBL Life Master bridge player.
She is survived by her husband, Dave Rasmussen; children, Walter Nix of Phoenix AZ, James Nix of Dallas TX, Jami Nix Rahn of Weston FL; grandchildren, Vannah Gillman, Nicole Lowney, Joshua Nix and her three great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 3, in the Chapel of Christ Episcopal Church, 400 San Juan Drive, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Katherine's name to The Wounded Warrior Project.
