In Heaven, Katherine is reunited with her husband of 50 years, William (Bill) Fager.
Katherine grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, before moving to Dallas, Texas in the mid-1960s. She had a passion for cooking and entertaining, creating warm memories for her friends and family. Her adventurous spirit led her to visit Hawaii several times with her son and his family, as well as embarking on cruises to the Mediterranean, Baltic Sea, Caribbean, and Mexican Riviera with her loved ones. An artistic soul, Katherine enjoyed creating beautiful floral designs and ceramic pieces, showcasing her creativity.
A true animal lover, she had a soft spot for vulnerable pets and dedicated her heart to rescuing four beloved dogs throughout her lifetime. In recent years, she relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, where she spent cherished hours on her lanai, appreciating the beauty of nature and the warmth of the Florida sunshine.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Baptist Medical Center Beaches and McGraw Center for Caring for their loving care and support during this difficult time.
A memorial service in honor of Katherine will be held in Dallas, Texas, in late May 2025. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Hospice & Palliative Care, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32257.
"Katherine’s spirit will remain forever in our hearts. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."
