Juliet Guarnieri DeHosson, 86, passed away peacefully June 18, 2018. She was born June 27, 1931 in Jamestown, NY where she was raised. She retired to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL in 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Hilary (Michael) Licardi; sons, Fred (Kay) and Martin; grandchildren, Christina and Alayna Licardi and Cynthia and Melissa DeHosson.
Juliet lived a full life as a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was married 43 years to Paul DeHosson. Together they raised three children in Staten Island, NY. She was also a medical assistant working for fifteen years after her earning her Associates Degree. After her retirement, she volunteered weekly at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Staten Island, NY.
Juliet was known by her family and friends as an excellent Italian cook and baker, crafter, world traveller, avid bingo player, and armchair golf enthusiast. As a member of the Players Community Senior Center, she was champion Wii golfer and bowler, a force to be reckoned with among her peers. Most importantly, she lived her life with exuberance in the eyes of the Lord.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 25, 2018 with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Quinn-Shalz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00, Tuesday, June 26th in Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Ponte Vedra Beach, with Reverend David Keegan as celebrant.
