Julie Worrill

Julie Holmes Worrill, a native of Hinsdale, Illinois passed away on July 4, 2017 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of James H. Worrill, Jr. Mother of Karen Swift (Doug), Julie Reeve (John) and Nancy Ragonese. Also survived by four grandsons, Austin Swift (Anne), Byron Swift, James Swift, and James Louis Ragonese. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ned and Luella Holmes of Hinsdale, Illinois, and a sister Olive Dalbeck.

Julie and her husband Jim moved to New Orleans in 1947. Julie served on numerous boards including Heart Ambassadors, Junior League and PEO. Later she worked as a patient liaison at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. In her earlier years Julie worked as a model in the fashion industry. Julie and Jim first moved to Neptune Beach and Atlantic Beach, Florida in 1997 where they made many wonderful friends.
