AVAMPATO Judith Judy Emily Avampato, age 73, died peacefully on Thursday, November 26, 2015 with her loving husband and children by her side. She was born April 19, 1942 in Erie, Pennsylvania and raised her family in Charleston, West Virginia prior to retiring to Jacksonville, Florida. Judy was a lover of life, beauty and nature. A wanna-be friend to all with not a mean bone in her body. She was always ready for a trip, a party or to experience something unique and different. But she was also grounded in her devotion to family and generosity to all. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Charles M. Avampato, whom she met prior to her graduation from Penn State University in 1964. They were married in 1965 and settled in Charleston, WV. They have three wonderful children who she loved madly, Lena M. Avampato of Cincinnati, OH, Mark C. Avampato of Jacksonville, FL, and Denise L. Avampato of Charleston, WV. She is also survived by daughter-in-law Lori Avampato and grandchildren Christopher and Michael Lane, all of Jacksonville. She grew up in Erie, PA one of the five children of Dr. John J. Mraz and Janette Harkins Mraz. She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her sister and best friend Jeanne F. Constable. Her surviving siblings are Dr. John P. Mraz, Dr. James E.
