Juanita Upchurch

Juanita Mealor Upchurch, 96, passed away Dec. 3, 2016. She was born Dec. 4, 1919 in Athens, GA.

Juanita is survived by her daughters, Nancy Browne (Jette) and Susan Buck (Tommy); grandchildren, Bo Thurston (Pattie), Mike Thurston (Laura), Henry Swift, Richard Swift (Hannah) and John Swift; great grandchildren, Lauren, Allison, Abby and William Thurston as well as Richard, Perk, Charles, and Morrison Swift. She was predeceased by her husband, Herman Boyd “Dick” Upchurch; brother, Richard Henry Mealor; and parents, John and Essie Mealor.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, December 10, 2016 in Oconee Hill Cemetery of Athens, GA
