Joyce DeVantier White, 53, passed away February 10, 2015 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born August 5, 1961 in Camden, NJ. Joyce was a member of the "Class of 1979" at Cherry Hill High School East and graduated from University of Delaware in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She had over 20 years of nursing experience and last worked at Brooks Rehabilitation. She loved quilting, gardening, and bird watching. Joyce was always fun loving with family and friends, but humbly reserved.
Family members include her husband of 30 years, Don White; son, Drew White; daughter, Nicole White; parents, Roger and Doris DeVantier; brothers, Wayne DeVantier (Pam), Keith DeVantier (Betty Jo), and Mark DeVantier (Vicki); and numerous family members.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 15th in Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, Feb. 16th in Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, with Rev. Francesco Iacona as Celebrant.
