It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John W Schuchart on July 18, 2024, at the age of 53. A loving husband, devoted father, and esteemed professional, John’s presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
John was born March 12, 1971, he brought kindness, comfort, and sheer joy into the lives of everyone he met. John was a man who held his family closest to his heart. He shared an endearing love with his wife, Alexis. Married for 25 years, together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. John’s love and devotion to his girls, Peyton and Pierson, was demonstrated every moment through his constant guidance, support, and unconditional love.
As the Vice President of Sales for the Central Division at Comcast, he was known for his dedication, leadership, and unparalleled work ethic. His professional journey was marked by his passion for excellence and his commitment to furthering a positive and productive work environment.
Whether John was cheering on his beloved Philadelphia Eagle football team or playing a highly competitive tennis match at PVIC with his boys, John had a passion for watching and playing sports.
John is now reunited with his father John L. Schuchart. Surviving is his wife Alexis Schuchart; daughters, Peyton Schuchart and Pierson Schuchart; Furry family member, Piper Schuchart; Mother, Nancy Schuchart; Sisters, Lori Tondera (John), Lynn McDevitt (Ed); and his Nieces, Morgan McDevitt and Alexandra McDevitt.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening, July 25th in Quinn Shalz Family Funeral Home, 3600 Third Street South Jacksonville Beach. A Mass will take place Friday afternoon, July 26th at 2:00pm in Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 545 A1A N, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082. A Celebration of John’s Life will held at the Stoudt family home at 181 San Juan Dr, Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl beginning at 5pm.
John’s spirit will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and colleagues. He leaves behind a void that can never be filled, but his memory will be a source of comfort and inspiration for all who knew him.
