John Thomas Philbin passed away peacefully at his home in Jacksonville, FL on June 24, 2017.
He is preceded in death by his devoted and loving wife of 47 years Patricia and his beautiful daughter Mary Jo McCool. He is survived by his sons John, Christopher (Tracy), daughters Eileen Monachello (Joe), Kathleen Jasper and Patricia Philbin, son-in-law Daniel McCool, 11 grandchildren, brother Joseph Philbin (Betty), sisters Ann Ludwig (Mike), Mary Schulz (Charles), many nieces and nephews and caring friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, June 30, 2017 where family and friends will be received at San Juan del Rio Catholic Church, located at 1718 State Road 13 North, Saint Johns, FL 32259. A Mass of Christian burial will be held to celebrate his life at 11am on Saturday, July 1, 2017, in the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Camp Sue Osborn in Mentor, Ohio.
