Joan Bowling

Joan Bowling, 72, passed away on July 22, 2021.  She was born on February 10, 1949 near Dayton, Ohio. She grew up in northern Kentucky across from Cincinnati.  Joan moved to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL in 2002 from Richmond, VA.

Joan is survived by David, her loving husband of 47 years; devoted daughters Monika Christian (James) and Emilie Raddin (Ryan); and grandchildren Nathan, Grace, Stacer, Jamie, Henry, and Ted. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Marian Shore, Dick Kreimborg, Joe Kreimborg (Debbie), Tony Kreimborg (Sarah), Terry Reep (Marv), Bob Kreimborg (Sally), Margo Reeves (Joe), and sister-in-law Nancy Fezzi (Ray).

Joan was committed to her family and loved more than anything spending time with them. She appreciated the opportunity to serve on the Board of the Carlyle Condominium Association. Joan enjoyed working with the women at Our Lady Star of the Sea in counting collections on Monday morning. She loved spending time with her friends as they were a great source of comfort and encouragement to her.

The family wants to express their appreciation to the medical professionals at Mayo Clinic for their expert and compassionate care.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 6, 2021 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Ponte Vedra Beach with Reverend Matthew King as Celebrant.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Beaches Habitat for Humanity in Atlantic Beach, FL or the Conventual Franciscan Friars at Mount St. Francis, IN.
