Jason Kyle Pickren, 22, died June 14, 2015 at his home in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. He was known as a kind person with a big heart and free spirit who loved children and animals, as well as playing and writing music. He gave the gift of laughter often to family and friends.
Whether he was helping someone, rocking out, conducting karate battles with his little brother, transforming landscapes, or entertaining us with his impersonations, Jason always found a way into peoples’ hearts.
Jason is survived by his fiancée, Jamie Melesky, his parents, Liston Pickren and Deborah Kinsey, his step-father, Mike Rich, brother Kael Pickren and sister-in-law Jacqueline Pickren along with nephews Brayden Meadows and Elijah Pickren, brother Carson Rich, sister Renee Potter, aunts Faith Banks and Laura Pickren Russell, uncle David Pickren, grandparents Ed and Linda Rich, and maternal grandmother, Alice Wayne, and a large extended family.
He lives on in our memories until we meet again.
Services were held at Sardis Baptist Church in Worthington Springs, Florida.
